The earliest of our projects is the aquaculture, starting from a single pond in Mokola, we now have farmed for the production of up to 100 Tons of catfish per month. Our operation is not limited to catfish, but after 7 years of research and deliberate investments, we are now at the forefront of production of Pangasius hypothalmus, which is a more palatable and healthier fresh/brackish water fish. The acceptance of Pangasius hypothalamus promises a better future than catfish. Not limiting our operations, we also delve into other species such as Gymnachos Niloticus, Heterotis, Tilapia, and many other freshwater species that could be farmed in Nigeria. With a population of about 200 Million, fish deficit reportedly in excess of 2 Million Tons per annum, the profitability of aquaculture is unlimited. It is the major source of animal protein to African countries and can be consumed both in the local and export market. The vision of FarmKonnect is to be the biggest producers of these fishes in Nigeria, then in West Africa. Our Aquaculture projects come under the name of Aquapet Venture Limited.
